Its demo is available now, and includes Ash’s Greninja, which can be transferred to the full game. Pokemon Sun and Moon comes to Nintendo 3DS on November 18th. Kaphotics has been breaking down these datamines in YouTube videos, below (as long as they haven’t been taken down).
Ash’s Greninja, terrifyingly, is much more powerful than even a Mega Evolution– and Ash’s Pikachu is in the game, too! (Well, Pikachu wearing different hats.) New moves with varied and powerful effects (like halving all attack damage to your team for 5 turns) have been found, as well as new items, and location names (including the Kalos Region!). Equally interesting, both main Legendaries have pre-evolutions, and Marshadow has been confirmed… and is tiny. Interestingly, they also have shiny forms. There will be 8 “Ultra Beasts” overall, which are still being treated as separate from Pokemon, and their designs vary wildly from Pokemon– and each other. All Alolan forms will come from the original 151, and include a chubbier shiny Persian, a black-geode Golem, and … a luscioius-locked Dugtrio. Possibly unsurprisingly, all of the major leaks up until this point have proven to be true, including what the starters’ final forms look like. There appear to be 800 Pokemon in the new dex. Spoilers, obviously, follow this sentence. It appears that the demo for Pokemon Sun and Moon contained a full Pokedex, and dataminers have already pulled out almost all the game’s Pokemon sprites, down to shinies. This the 7th generation Pokemon game after the release of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y in 2014. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon is the latest game in the series, developed by GameFreaks and published by Nintendo. The starters are also listed there along with some of the Legendary Pokemon. The image below shows the full set of generation 7 Pokemon in the Pokedex. In addition to the evolution of the starter Pokemon, the whole Pokedex has been leaked online and can be seen in the form of videos from the YouTube user Kaphotics. As we saw in an early leak, the starter Pokemon appear to be pretty much the same but we can have an idea now of how they look into the game in 3D. The first confirmation for the Pokemon Sun and Moon is the final evolution of the starter Pokemon. The demo is available now in selected territories and thanks to data mining, a lot of major information regarding the game has already leaked online. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are getting a demo today for the Nintendo 3DS.
